1. Overview
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Conex Box USA coordinates delivery for shipping containers, conex boxes, storage containers, specialty units, cabins, and related products. Because these are large freight items, delivery depends on product availability, distance, site access, equipment requirements, weather, and carrier scheduling.
2. Delivery Coverage
We arrange delivery across the United States where service is available. Some remote, restricted, island, mountain, private-road, or limited-access locations may require additional time, special equipment, or a custom delivery quote.
Delivery availability is not guaranteed until our team reviews the delivery address, product type, and access conditions.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery time is usually 3 to 10 business days after order confirmation and payment, depending on:
- container availability near the delivery location;
- distance from the depot or yard;
- carrier and driver availability;
- weather, road restrictions, permits, and holidays;
- customer readiness and site access; and
- any requested modifications or special sourcing.
Delivery dates and times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by Conex Box USA.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are based on distance, equipment, fuel, route difficulty, product size, and delivery location. Delivery fees may be shown during checkout, included in a quote, or provided separately by our team.
Additional charges may apply for:
- remote or difficult delivery locations;
- limited road access, private roads, gates, low bridges, narrow turns, low power lines, or steep grades;
- failed delivery attempts, customer delays, or refused delivery;
- redelivery, relocation, waiting time, storage, or special scheduling;
- cranes, forklifts, heavy-duty equipment, permits, escorts, or local restrictions; and
- site conditions that require additional labor or equipment.
5. Customer Site Preparation
The customer is responsible for preparing a safe, accessible, and suitable delivery site before the truck arrives. The delivery area must be firm, level, dry enough for truck access, and free from obstructions.
As a general guide, customers should provide:
- clear truck access from the road to the placement area;
- adequate overhead clearance from trees, wires, roofs, signs, and structures;
- sufficient straight-line space for tilt-bed unloading;
- a level placement surface such as gravel, concrete, asphalt, compacted dirt, or prepared pads;
- permission to access private roads, gated properties, yards, farms, job sites, or commercial sites; and
- a responsible person available by phone during delivery.
If the site is not suitable or the driver determines delivery cannot be completed safely, the delivery may be postponed, relocated to a safer area, or cancelled. Additional fees may apply.
6. Placement and Offloading
Most standard container deliveries are completed using a tilt-bed or roll-off truck. The truck backs into position, tilts the trailer, and slides the container onto the prepared surface. Precise placement depends on site conditions and driver safety judgment.
The customer must not request unsafe placement. Drivers may refuse placement that risks injury, property damage, vehicle damage, product damage, or violation of law or site rules.
7. Customer Unloading or Special Equipment
If a product requires crane, forklift, rigging, or customer-supplied unloading equipment, the customer is responsible for arranging safe and adequate equipment unless Conex Box USA confirms otherwise in writing.
Any customer-provided equipment must be suitable for the weight and dimensions of the product.
8. Missed, Failed, or Refused Delivery
Missed, failed, or refused delivery may result in additional charges, including driver waiting time, return freight, storage, redelivery, and administrative fees. Examples include:
- customer is unavailable or cannot be reached;
- payment or order verification is incomplete;
- site is not ready or accessible;
- incorrect delivery address or missing access information;
- customer refuses delivery of the correct product; or
- the driver determines the site is unsafe or inaccessible.
9. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect the product at delivery before signing or accepting completion where possible. Any material issue should be reported immediately with clear photos or videos. After delivery, claims are handled under our Refund & Return Policy.
10. Risk of Loss and Site Responsibility
Risk of loss or damage may transfer to the customer once the product is delivered, placed, or accepted at the delivery site, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing. The customer is responsible for permits, zoning, HOA rules, site restrictions, ground conditions, and use of the product after delivery.
