At Conex Box USA, we are committed to fair, transparent, and professional service. This Refund & Return Policy explains when cancellations, returns, replacements, and refunds may be accepted for products purchased through our website.
Because many of our products include used shipping containers, specialty units, modified units, cabins, trailers, and delivery arrangements scheduled specifically for each order, all refund and return requests are reviewed according to the terms below.
2. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
Customers may request to cancel an order before the product has been dispatched for delivery.
- If the order is cancelled before dispatch, the customer may be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, less any non-recoverable administrative, payment processing, or order preparation fees.
- Administrative and payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund where applicable.
- If custom work, modifications, special sourcing, or reserved transportation has already been arranged, additional non-refundable costs may apply.

3. Returns After Delivery
Due to the size, nature, and logistics involved in shipping containers and related products, returns are not automatically accepted after delivery.
A return, replacement, or refund may be considered only if:
- the delivered item is materially different from the item ordered;
- the product has significant undisclosed structural damage;
- the wrong product was delivered due to our error; or
- the product does not reasonably match the condition description stated on the order or product listing.
All requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery and should include:
- the customer’s full name;
- order number;
- delivery address;
- a clear description of the issue; and
- clear photos or videos showing the problem.
If no issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery, the order may be considered accepted.
4. Product Condition and Used Inventory
Many products sold by Conex Box USA are used or refurbished and may show normal signs of age and prior use.
For used containers and similar products, the following are generally not considered valid reasons for return or refund:
- cosmetic dents;
- scratches;
- surface rust;
- paint fading;
- patches or repairs consistent with the product grade; and
- normal wear associated with used equipment.
Used units are sold according to the grade or condition stated at the time of sale, including terms such as WWT (Wind and Watertight), CW / Cargo Worthy, As-Is, One Trip, and Used / Refurbished.
If a product does not meet the condition standard specifically stated in the order, we will review the matter and may offer an appropriate resolution, which may include repair support, replacement, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the circumstances.
5. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
Unless required by law or approved by us in writing, the following items or charges are generally non-returnable and non-refundable:
- delivery charges once transportation has been dispatched or completed;
- crane, tilt-bed, offloading, redelivery, or access-related service charges;
- custom-built, modified, or special-order products;
- deposits paid for reserved stock, scheduled logistics, or custom sourcing;
- products that have been altered, modified, relocated, resold, or damaged after delivery; and
- issues caused by improper site preparation, unloading restrictions, refused delivery, or customer-caused access problems.
6. Delivery Fees
Delivery and logistics charges are generally non-refundable once the delivery process has been scheduled, dispatched, or completed.
If a refund is approved after delivery, original delivery charges, return transport costs, restocking costs, equipment handling charges, and any other direct logistics expenses may be deducted from the refund amount unless the refund is due solely to our error.
7. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers are responsible for inspecting the product promptly upon delivery.
Before or immediately after unloading, customers should verify:
- that the correct item was delivered;
- that the condition generally matches the order description; and
- that no obvious major undisclosed damage is present.
By accepting delivery without timely notice of a material issue, the customer acknowledges that the item was received in acceptable condition, subject to any rights required by applicable law.
8. Refund Review and Approval
Once we receive a refund or return request, our team will review the order details, delivery information, product listing, condition grade, and the photos or videos provided.
We may, at our discretion:
- request additional information;
- offer a repair solution;
- offer a replacement unit;
- offer a partial refund; or
- approve a full refund.
Refunds and resolutions are determined on a case-by-case basis based on the facts of each order.
9. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it is typically processed within 5 to 10 business days after approval.
- Bank or card provider processing times may vary.
- Original payment processing fees may be non-refundable where applicable.
- Approved deductions may apply for logistics, restocking, custom work, or other non-recoverable costs.
Refunds will generally be issued back to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you experience an issue with your order, we ask that you contact us first so we can review and attempt to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
Filing a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us may delay the resolution process where supporting order and delivery records are required.
